Fee Increase Notice – Effective September 1, 2020

Dear Parents,

Our Hand in Hand Child Care Society Board of Directors, has deemed it necessary to increase our child care fees effective September 1, 2020 as we ensure our valued employees receive the benefits of the 4 year BC Fair Wage plan which includes the increase of the minimum wage up to June 2021.

Keeping our fees affordable and competitive still remains our mandate. External market research confirms that Hand in Hand still remains competitive with what other child care providers charge for their services. What makes Hand in Hand unique is that we continue to provide the flexibility of choosing part time care and fees to support your needs. As a non-profit society, parent fees are our major source of revenue to help us meet our financial responsibilities. The revenue generated from the fee increase will allow the Board to establish a fair and equitable pay scale that will help to retain and attract competent child care professionals to our organization.

Effective September 1, 2020, the new fee schedule listed below will be:

Our annual registration of $50 per family will remain the same.

Pro D Day, Summer, Christmas & Spring Breaks	$35.00 per day	$33.00 per day
Preschool
2 Days a week	$145.00 per month	$135.00 per month
3 Days a week	$165.00 per month	$150.00 per month
